It's too hard to believe...

That I was once afraid of how my baby was going to look when I learned he had a cleft... He is so beautiful

That we only have 2 more weeks to gaze at that perfect smile...

....the one that "lights up my world...."

That in just a few hours the smile we fell so in love with will be forever changed...

That the future of my baby boy is going to be in the hands of an imperfect man, a surgeon.... No that's too much to handle...and it's not true. My baby boy is in the hands of the one who created him... so perfect. All his little toes, his chunky cheeks, those big eyes. My baby is in the hands of the Master. That is all that gives me peace... knowing that when he is in that room lying helpless on a table...he is not alone. Judah you are in the hands of the Almighty God.. I couldn't ask for more.

It will be His hands that hold you... comfort you. His hands will make you whole.

He will work the miraculous in you... watch and see the God of wonders mold His masterpiece.

Please remember, nothing in this life is forever...everything can change...all too soon. Take nothing for granted. Love and cherish what God has given you.

The same goes for those of you who are struggling... those that feel trapped in a pit of darkness. God is there. He can show you that there is a "back door" and everything can change in an instant...

  3. I got chill bumps reading your post. I love the way you praise God in every situation. I know He will honor that and you will be rewarded in Heaven for your faithfulness. Judah is on our prayer list at church. I'll be in prayer for you at home too. If you need to talk while he's in the OR call me I'm always here.

  4. Love your post....and yes, Judah is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy that wide smile. There is nothing like it. I still miss Reid's, even after a year post op. Something about that first face. But, how awesome is it that we get to fall in love with our kids' faces twice???? Pretty awesome!!!

  5. There are no more "important" prayers than the one offered to the Father in faith. If you look for Him, He will be found. When you speak, He will hear. Love you guys.
